Description

In one line. Mech Escape is an offline sci-fi action RPG for iPhone with no ads and no account.

In one paragraph. You are an escaped prototype mech. Twelve districts and eleven bosses stand between you and the sky. You move with one thumb and the mech aims and fires on its own. Salvage in your hold can only be spent once it is banked at a safe dome, and if you die on the way your cargo waits at the wreck. There are five weapons, district workshops that tune them and Echo Contracts that replay beaten bosses for medals. The game is free, plays offline and can be beaten without paying.

How it was made

Mech Escape took two years. It began in June 2024 as a Unity project and was rebuilt as a native Swift and SpriteKit game. The full story is in the devlog: I loved a game that stopped updating. So I built my own.
