The game
You are an escaped prototype mech. Twelve districts and eleven bosses stand between you and the sky.
You move with one thumb and the mech aims and fires on its own. Salvage in your hold can only be spent once you have carried it back to a safe dome, so every trip out ends with the same question: push to one more camp, or turn back now.

What is in it
- Twelve districts, eleven bossesEvery boss fights in three phases and guards the bridge onward.
- Bank it or lose itSalvage in your hold can only be spent once it is banked at a safe dome. If you die on the way, your cargo waits at the wreck and one walk back recovers it.
- Five weaponsArc Blaster, Energy Sword, Heavy Blaster, Continuous Laser and Mechanical Tentacles. Any of them can be tried in Training before you spend a token on it.
- A chassis you buildChassis Core upgrades travel with you from district to district. Combat modules are earned in play and never sold.
- Offline, with no adsNo account and no internet connection needed. Progress saves on your device.
- A story with an endingYou wake in a burst specimen pod in Vault-7 with a stranger's voice in your ear. Every boss has something to say.
- Echo ContractsReplay bosses you have already beaten. There are three contracts with three medals each, and nothing in them changes the story.
- Made for one thumbTouch anywhere to move. The joystick can be resized, faded and moved to either hand. There are settings for reduced motion, shake, flash and text size.
What it costs
Mech Escape is free to download, and the whole game can be beaten without paying. Optional purchases are sold in the game: three appearance packs, Override Tokens, a Starter Pack, a Currency Doubler, an XP Doubler and a weekly VIP subscription. The appearance packs are cosmetic and change nothing about damage, drops, repair or collection. The rest save time.
