Effective: July 28, 2026
CrumbKeeper is built so that your data never leaves your device.
CrumbKeeper keeps sourdough starters, feeding history, formulas, and bake notes in the app's own storage on your device. That information stays there. It is not sent anywhere, and it is not visible to us or to anyone else.
Photo library access is used only when you pick or save an image yourself. CrumbKeeper does not scan, index, or upload your photo library.
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device for reminders you set up yourself. They are not sent from a server, and nothing about them leaves the device.
When you explicitly export or share something — a CSV, a PDF, a backup file, an image — the file goes only where you send it. CrumbKeeper adds no hidden metadata beyond what you can see in the export.
CrumbKeeper can write a backup file that you save wherever you choose. If you place it in iCloud Drive or another service, that copy is governed by that service's terms, not by us. Your regular device backup may also include CrumbKeeper's data, handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
CrumbKeeper does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
