Molt Privacy Policy

Effective: August 25, 2026

Molt is built so that your game data never leaves your device.

What Molt stores

Everything the game creates, from your banked scores and den level to your streak, unlocked cosmetics, and settings, is stored only on your device in the app's local storage. There are no Molt servers, and nothing is uploaded.

What Molt does not do

Game Center

If you sign in to Apple's Game Center, Molt can submit your banked run scores to its weekly and all-time leaderboards and report which of its achievements you have earned. That data goes to Apple under your own Apple Account and is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. Molt never stores or sends a Game Center identifier itself. If you are signed out, those features simply hide and the game plays the same. Molt has no multiplayer server: the hunter drones are simulated on your own device.

Purchases

Molt offers optional cosmetic in-app purchases, including the Den Pass weekly subscription. They change how the game looks and never how it plays. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. Purchase management and payment information are handled by the App Store; Molt never sees your payment details. Purchase entitlements are checked on-device via Apple's StoreKit. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchase data.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Molt schedules at most one local reminder per day on your device (a streak reminder, the Monday leaderboard reset, or a note about an uncollected corpse). These are created and delivered entirely on your device. Nothing about them is sent to us.

Children's privacy

Molt does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
